I am looking forward to the Chinese version. If I install that it I will be able to relive the difficulty I had in finding my way around X1 to start with.

R-Mix looks pretty cool, but I don't imagine I'll use it very often at all. If something wasn't right and I needed to use R-Mix to fix it, I've probably got the original mix anyway so I'd get a better result tweaking from there.

It's pretty cool, but I'd take a guess than 90% of SONAR users wouldn't find a use for it once the 'shiny red ball' syndrome wears off.

Though, I do wonder if it could be an interesting tool to help analyse professional mixes.

Will the Chinese version have a delayed voice with someone else singing?

The Chinese version will be great for when you have writers block,
and you just want to noodle about.

Some new interesting stuff in X2.

That Rmix thing looks cool, but I doubt I'll ever use it. I am mostly looking forward to the workflow improvements and the "icing" on the Cake that started with X1. Clearly they have been listening :)

So, synth replace would be like you were using Vienna and decided to use Hollywood and want to replace the synth in the rack without having to copy or drag all the MIDI notes, set up the track level and panning, reverb, etc.?  That would be good for a lot of things (e.g., RealStrat to RealLPC, change pianos, etc.).  Replace drummers could be tricky if the tracks weren't laid out the same.

I am surprised by VS-700 support.  Not sure what else they could do to integrate beyond what is already there, but maybe something cool.

Replace Synth is in Expanded and it works beautifully.

I'm hopeful that there will be v700 improvements. It's a bit cranky right now to be honest.
