I Switched to Firefox

I was having problems with Google Chrome. Messages saying I need this and that . I remembered I liked Firefox in the past so downloaded and installed. Not good. strange symbols now appear. What browser do you guys like the most? Thank you for your support!

Fire Fox seems unstable and I click on a site and I'm sent somewhere I didn't want to go. Not to mention the weird symbols in place of normal fonts.

There is no perfect browser. They all suck in some way. That's why I have both Chrome and Firefox at hand...if one gives me trouble, I'll use the other. You can use the X-Marks addon to share your bookmarks between both browsers.

I am using Firefox and have no problems with it. If problem and have Nvidia Graphics Card (Geforce) then perhaps turning off hardware acceleration may do the trick. Otherwise check your plug-ins and see if they are actually up to date. Not perfect perhaps but then I do not use IE at all.

I've used Firefox and Google scares me too. I really have no problems with IE.. and I know how to use it, so I stay there. I am using IE 9... works great for me. I think I tried 10 when it came out... twice and rolled back to 9 twice.

Still using IE9 as well, but it's now too far back for some new stuff I need to do so...  I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.  Bah.

I switched from IE to Firefox 4-5 years ago, don't remember why. I liked Firefox untill it started having hiccups with SONAR forum software. Then I moved to Chrome, which I like, but I every now and then I bump into things that work in one and not in the other and vice versa. Sometimes I have to change browser in order to get a download done or similar.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
