I Want the Loop to Stop at the End of the Loop

In 8.5, Looping had a settings button.  I use looping for recording a phrase of a song and I would like for it to stop when it reaches the end of the loop.

How do you set the loop in X1 to stop when it reaches the end point of the loop instead of looping and recording another clip?

In 8.5, stop at the end of the loop was accomplished with the Loop Settings button.  I cannot find a way to do this in X1.  Anybody know??  Thanks

Isn't looping designed to keep looping? Would punch record be better?

EDIT: Oh I see. 8.53 had an option. Don't know where (if) it is in X1.

Well I've gotten used to using the Loop function in 8.5 which actually stops the playback at the end of the loop if you set it that way using the settings button in the loop section.

I am just trying to find out how to do the same thing with X1 and have the loop stop at the end of the selection???

Yeah Loop/Auto Shuttle. No such animal in the X1 manual.

X1 says there is no end of a loop.

that's kinda like trying to put the safe in the corner of the round bank.

Ok I'm probably way off but I have LOOP off and then drag the length I want then when I get done recording it stops at that point.

I seem to recall that you can set a marker that stops the playback, but can't remember...will check later.

    Good News!
However, I could not find "Loop/Auto Shuttle" function in Sonar X1 but I found another way to play one time the selection. It is so easy.
    1. select part of track which going to play
    2. Press "shift"+"space" key
It starts to play and at the end point automatically stops.
