I almost want to say Yes

The VIP offer to see Yes in San Diego. But $262 (minimum*) plus a night in hotel, gas and meals is like 12 plugins on sale. And I saw Yes in their heyday twice with the prime lineup. Bruford, Wakeman, Howe, Anderson and Squire.
 
What could they possibly give me today that I have not already seen?
 
* There were to seats in front row dead center for $650. That's half the cost of a decent bass guitar.

    I agree. You probably paid less than $20 back in the day to see them at their best. $650??? That's a mortgage payment! Way too much for a band that's not gonna be a pimple on the rear end compared to the band that you saw in the 70's.

    To me they're more of a tribute band now, and have been since the split with Anderson.

    I bought the latest CD (Heaven & Earth) to have the last effort by Chris Squire.
     
    I've been a fan for over 40 years, and have seen them live many times. But never again.
     
    The new singer (Jon Davison) is really weak, as are his contributions (more than half the songs). Now without Chris? No thanks.

    They're coming to the state fair this summer.
    My wife is on the morning show for the local classic-rock station... so we'll probably go... but it won't be the same.
     
    Chris Squire is one of my favorite musicians...
