I applaud Cakewake for introducing the Quickfix program!!!

This is exactly what was needed.  Addressing pressing issues in smaller more frequent fixes is ideal.  Cake, thanks for listening...'very much appreciated.  This is what I call first class customer service and response.  I look forward to applying the first Quickfix...HURRAY!!!

As everyone who is having issues with X1 deserves any fixes that may be released, I'm especially glad you are getting the updates/fixes because when you report problems you do it civilly and tactfully. I hope this fix resolves any issues you may have had. :)

This is EXTREMELY welcome news, very much appreciated and makes me feel better about laying down my upgrade fee this year. Kudos to whomever was responsible for shepherding this decision through! I feel a bit better about CW today, I was beginning to worry a little with no word on further updates to the things that X1b broke. Thanks guys!

Yes, I was beggining to worry also.  This WAS part of my lack of confidence in Cake.  This may be the game changer for me.

That is exactly the beauty of a quick fix program. You can at least try and put out the fire before it does much damage.

You would prefer the developers set a fire then wait 3 months to open the hydrant? Not me, man.

    Peace,

Well, I applied the Quickfix ...and... so far so good.

I kicked around in it for about an hour and it feels right.  No glitches so far. ProChannel seems to be purring along and saving settings.  Fx Chain works like a charm.  I haven't seen any "bad guys" yet and I actually don't think I will.  Even my A-500 Pro is working as expected.

I really like the idea of Quickfix.  Even if a Quickfix release doesn't do exactly what's expected it feels good to know that another Quickfix release could come very soon to straighten out any unforeseen gotchas.  This is a policy I can get behind and it definitely instills confidence.

I have a project, started in 8.5.3, that will be finished in a couple of months.  I don't want to switch horses in the middle of the stream.  When that project is finished I plan on starting the next project in X1.

    Very cool!!!
