Yes. There have been two patches since build 306.

    The Quickfix (build 308).

    http://www.cakewalk.com/S...reader.aspx/2007013292

And Patch "a" (I forget the build number).

    http://www.cakewalk.com/s...reader.aspx/2007013301

If you install the "a" patch you don't need to bother with the Quickfix but a few people have had some complaints about the "a" patch so if you have some serious issues trying the Quickfix instead might be something to consider. However ask the forum or tech support before assuming any problems are related to the patch. Most people seem to be doing alright with it.

Enjoy X2 and welcome to the forum.

I also have a few entry level videos up on you tube

    learning basic midi:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k83UVo1OiKA

heres a video using session drummer 3 (included in sonar x2, its a drum VSTI:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjZS61Wg-XY

here a video on editing drums in the piano roll , this is a good way to write drum parts:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruAnAPR6-hQ

these vid's are really basic and will ease you in to sonar.
as will the ones beep has linked up here.

my advice is to watch a few of them before you dive in, it will cut down on questions that are already answered in the videos.

    Windows 8.1 X64 Sonar Platinum x64
    Custom built: Asrock z97 1150 - Intel I7 4790k - 16GB corsair DDR3 1600 - PNY SSD 220GB
Focusrite Saffire 18I8 - Mackie Control

Glad you're still putting those together, Chuck. I'll have to start tossing them in my bookmarks folder. One of these days I'm going to consolidate all the resources I have and post them. That was just a small sampling of my collection.

    Cheers.
