I can not enable MIDI output
This is what I get when inserting any soft synth.(Option is greyed out)
Also. My M-audio Oxygen is not getting any response from soft synths.. Mostly. Sometimes it does.
Midi is the worst BS sometimes..

Most synths do not have the feature
The ones that do have the option enabled by default on that dialog

Well. Cakewalk will not record from my (Mouse) input. I get sound, though, only not from my dedicated keyboard.
According to an article I should enable this to be able to record..

This has nothing to do with "Enable MIDI Output."
Playing a plug-in UI is primary intended for auditioning sounds but may be recorded using
synth audio recording
or recording on an aux track.
Here
