I can not record. or playback.

I have an hp G470, Four gigs memo/ duo core, I think the sound card is conxant. well at least that is what I am seeing.
some told to use the wave profiler. I used the Audio profiler. and is reads profiler success. just for now. I would for my mc5 to record what laptop plays. play it what it can hear.  and it shows only microphone active.

A Z\28 for Eddie. and a digitech2112 too!!!!!!

    If I understand your post, you want to record in MC whatever is playing on your computer? Like an internet radio station?
    I've never had a Conexant sound card so I don't know it's options, but if you open the Windows mixer by double-clicking on the speaker icon in the system tray, you may be able to set the input to something that will allow that.
    In other sound cards, that setting is called What You Hear or Stereo Mix. Look for something like that in the Conexant Properties.
