I'm still running Firefox 3.6. Thanks Bub. I used the link you posted a while back and disabled automatic updates and everything has been perfect! I use this browser for this forum and have it as my homepage... works for me. J

For what it's worth, my FF just updated to 12. I logged into CH and it didn't seem to make any difference. I did not do any extensive testing though.

I think people have gone to earlier versions of FF, moved to a different browser, or gave up trying.
I went with the second option. I still use FF sometimes for not-Cake stuff.

it's even worse on Android phones (in the default browser), for some reason html tags don't render either so you have to work through [ img ] [/ img ] etc etc...

Oh, well. It's our beloved forum software and not FF. Some suggested using the brk enclosed in <> to accomplish your breaks. I had mixed results with that. Sometimes it would work, most of the time it didn't. No sure why. By that time, I'd lost interest in investigating and moved on.

I imagine that someone knows. Just none of us dingbats! The more recent post may have had a little more detail, but not the kind of stuff you're looking for. I'll take another look when I get a chance. That may take a while, though.
