I did another theme.

Hi guys, I did another theme, I soften everything up while giving the buttons some highlights and removing some text, like pan and gain at the knobs. Anyway hope you enjoy. Heres the link to download :- https://www.dropbox.com/s...ted%20buttons.sth?dl=0
I should point out and give credit to Outland144 as I used his mercsten theme as my starting point...

Except for the red on/off button against the FX, which for me stands out a bit harshly, I really enjoy the look of this one! Well done.

It's a shame that we can't suppress the text only when the values are "neutral", like "0% C" in the Pan.

This is the first time I feel motivated to try a new theme. I've been happy with Tungsten. But this looks great to my eyes (with the exception that has been noted above about the strong red on the FX when you have it activated).

But I think I'll be trying this out. Nice work on it! Way to go!

Thanks guys, With regards the red on the FX, it is only on the bypass button and only lights up red when the mouse is over the insert name, I wanted to have a contrast for the bypass button, I will soften it upp a bit and I'm also gonna work on the meters, I want the yellow to start at -12db as that is where I want to have my peaks to be around when recording. I'll keep checking for improvements and make them when necessary.

Truly well done Theme I will actually use (and I consider that to be the highest praise I can give)!  Thanks for sharing it.

(OP - you might want to update the 1st post to include the working Box link you provided in post 15, for those that might miss it otherwise).

Re: I did another theme. 2017/02/04 17:12:37 (permalink)
Andrew / Sausy1981 - in the spirit of another recent (Jan 2017) thread on a Theme introduced along the Logic appearance, there has been dialog in that "logic" thread where some feedback has been provided about some bits that weren't quite working correctly.

I've utilized the theme you introduced here since September, except after one of the Platinum monthly releases I noticed that the icon on Midi and instrument tracks (it's a square with the Midi symbol) under the big icon (so the smaller icon) is blank.  When I switched back to Tungsten I can see what is supposed to show in that empty square (in the Sausy Soft Tone theme it's blank).

If you were able to perhaps provide an update to fix that I would go back to using this theme again.  I have liked your customization quite a bit and the color tones in it.

Very cool, Andrew. I like this one a bunch! I just DL'ed it. Thanks also for the nod.

“Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy” is attributed to Benjamin Franklin perhaps in error, but the thought remains a worthy sentiment nonetheless.

Hey Man, As far as I remember I blanked all icons like instrument, audio and midi so that they dont show in the track view, This was done on purpose as I was trying to keep the track view as tidy as possible and I didn't see the need for them. If you would like to change it for yourself you can just go into the theme editor and find icons and revert to original. Glad you like the theme otherwise, All the best,
Andrew
