Since I last posted...

I watched TV Burp.

I washed up.

I took a massive dump.

I drank 0.7263 pints of Tesco Diet Cola.

I typed this.

In fact I'm still typing this.

LOL

It's been a loooooong time since I played rugby Jan.

Tighthead prop can be a very interesting position to play.

Thankfully for my youthful good looks, I soon switched to playing blind side flanker.

It's great value for money though mate - it's only 57p for a 2 litre bottle, and to me it tastes as good as the 'real' thing.

You can't even get a 330ml can of Coke/Pepsi for 57p can you.

Hmmm. Methinks too many vindaloos have destroyed Strummy's taste buds !

Can I interest you in Paulo's special warm yellow lemonade ? Only 20p for 2 litres !

Rugby for me too Mr Strumboli, back to a chicken vindaloo - woo hoo, and my eldest son in away for the night and left me 12 bottles of Budweiser in the beer fridge.

I watched abit of this Six Nations thing. Kind of like a game we have in NZ called "Rugby" or "Code". The difference being you guys don't seem to have the option of scoring points by making tries....

Yes, I do know what I'm talking aboput, we are World Champions!

I dug out a bowl of my own home made vindaloo from the freezer for tea tonight Garry. Went down a treat with a portion of Tilda wholegrain pilau rice (2 minutes in the microwave).

Not a big fan of microwave rice but I meant that I managed to get it all hot and on the plate during half time in the England v Ireland game

It was a bit feckin' sp1cy though. If Paulo will forgive the plug, I recall using a whole pack of Tesco hot chillies to make up a three-portion batch. If you sort through them, you can often find a pack with a scotch bonnet or two in it

Straummy 'curry' tip of the day #1: don't freeze raw chillies, the seeds go black and lose their piquancy.

Straummy 'curry' tip of the day #2: do freeze a couple of Andrex the day before.

Top tips indeed from the curry connoisseur himself. I still have 'The Curry Kitchen' DVD you very generously made for me Steve. My vindaloo sauce was prepared yesterday, I chopped up 2 fresh chicken breasts and cook em for 3/4 minutes in a wok before adding the sauce and  letting them simmer in that for about 20 mins. Works for me anyway, I am chowing down on it as I type this post...

LOL

It's been a loooooong time since I played rugby Jan.

You might have to explain some of it to Randy, he might wonder if you say you know a professional hooker who's over 6 feet tall, about 18 stone and named Dylan.
(And, yep, the Welsh are definitely happy in this household - some respite from giving away the World Cup finals chance.)

Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!
