So that's what, about 10 billion samples in all? Wow!
In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

The dern thang comes on a 1TB 3.5" hard drive. 780GB of data. Of course it contains their additional products "Orchestral Platinum", "Pianos" and "Stormdrum 2". So if I decide to add those, the theory is I just buy licenses. At best, of the three, I'm probably only interested in Orchestral Platinum, but it's another 385 samolians.

Symphony Orchestra is gorgeous but REALLY needs the close mics. It only comes with the stage mics which have a lot of (really nice natural) reverb that you can't get rid of. You could upgrade to Platinum OR you can buy the additional mics separately. I have SO Gold and added the close and surround mics and am very happy.

For $320 upgrade to Platinum I'll have to wait until the stage mics annoy me to no end. BTW vv, I could not find where I can buy the mics separately.

I looked around also and couldn't find them. I got them both for $150.00. Maybe they don't sell them any more separately. The good new is I paid over $550 for what Gold which is now $375 on their site. Anyway it is really incredible stuff. I use the vibes, hand percussion and cymbal rolls in things not orchestral. Even the piano is useful but the strings are to dye for. I like the brass and winds much better than the VSL stuff that comes with Kontakt.

I think CCC2 has it included... Don't know if it's a FREE upgrade when it comes out or what... http://www.soundsonline.com/CCC2

I have RA, Gypsy, VOP, and now MOR. My favorite of all sample based synths. I only have the free versions of many of the others, like Alchemy, Kontact, Zebra... but I decided to stick with buying EWQL stuff until I get my fill. I have nothing posted with it yet, but lately I've been using MOR for bass and drums on a few things and I can't get over how great they are. With just a few key switches I was able to get a bass sounding better than my ability of recording me playing a real bass and mixing the sound. The drums, oh my they sound good, not for someone who has to have control of each kit piece in the mix, but IMO they just sound great as they are. Things like high hat never get that mechanical sound and not much mixing needs to be done. Just so much easier to work with for me. What the heck, I hope this is not spam, but a temporary posting here no vocals and not really mixed, I put it together to play to live. No vocals just instruments. MOR bass and drums https://soundcloud.com/grant-s/isls-demo My love for EWQL grows with each soundset. :)
