I got Dimension Pro

I would really appreciate some guidance. I ordered Dimension Pro from Zzounds and I was delighted that I placed the order yesterday and got it today !! am still at work thinking I cant wait!!!!! I opened up the box and looked into the DVD's and found out that they got scratches on them !!!!! One of them seems beat up !?!?!. I was surprised because usually new CDs are spotless.

I called Zzounds, and they typically told me , we get it straight from cakewalk but go a head try it it should work.

I told him I did not try it yet, but the principle is that I bought it as new why bother try if it works or it doesn’t work on the long run. I am thinking if is already scratched what is going to happen after a while when I use it..

Why the hassle when you spent that amount of $$$. So they asked me to call cakewalk.

At cakewalk customer service , they were supportive and said would look at it but pretty much I will need to get back to Zzounds they could work out something.

Pretty much am in the grind now..



where should I go from here ?

Markus, open up your Dimension Pro manual, and go past the Index to the License Agreement. Section 5.1 gives you the Limited Warranty details. There's some useful information for leverage. Don't wait; do this within 30 days of purchase.

Thanks guys for the feed back. I am going to follow up with them and see..All I need is a new DVD to start with.

I love it , and like you said patches am not even half way through. I did not have time to touch the tweakers not even once.
