I gotta say

I've never been into the looks of microphones but pics DO NOT do justice to AEA R84.

That is one beautiful mic.

BTW, it arrived yesterday and I got to see it for the first time last night.

    Remember, it's ok to kiss it but DO NOT BLOW INTO IT'S EAR.


    Please make sure you are familiar with the need to be careful when moving that mic around. It is VERY wind sensitive. My ribbons are the only mics I baby. I occasionally take my more expensive and fancy boom mics out on boats and too the beach and out in the rain and stuff.

    I treat my ribbon mics like little infants that need to be protected and coddled.




    It's great to learn that you are stoked to see the mic.

    I baby my SM57s/SM58s the same as I baby my C414 and SolidTube.
