I have a new song on my soundcloud...electronic something ...

It sounds a little harsh and dirty in some places but I just couldn't get the mix to sound cleaner...sorry about that.

    Yeah, it does sound smashed in places -- but obviously you know that.  Other than that (!) you've got some good catchy stuff going on here.  If you put a vocal melody on it, it would really take it to another place.  I'd like to hear that.  Good luck with it -- hope you get some traction -- but seriously, fix that mix.

    When mixing, one "trick" I've learned over the years is to start mixing at the loudest part of the song and get those levels around -6 to -8db. This mix sounds like you started mixing and ran out of headroom as you added more stuff.
     
    Not a bad song though, and like Allan said, a vocal would add something special to it.
