I have a problem

My vocals sound fine tell I bring in the beat then it distorts them how can i fix this?
I use Music Creator 2

    The other tracks should have no effect on the existing tracks unless they are becoming additive. What i mean is when you do a new track does it add the old tracks to it?

    Then either "what you hear" or something like it, like mix or something is turned on in the sound cards mixer window, or Input monitoring is engaged in MC. Both of these will cause it to record in an additive way.
