I have figured out how to afford my next microphone purchase.
I told the missus I am thinking about taking up motorcycling. The missus has replied that I should buy a new microphone instead. :-)

FWIW, she was so alarmed that she authorized me to buy both of the mics I've been saying I want.
I didn't tell her we could only afford one of them. :-)
Hoping to get a good gig soon to help with that second one. ;-)

You've definitely taken the cheaper option. Not sure it'll do much for an adrenalin rush though.

Are you kidding? Have you tried doing 200mph round Brands' on a Condenser Mic?

Not with McQ around and his ability to re-purpose cycle parts, you don't stand a chance. He'll be on it quicker than anyone could perform a right-angled SM-57 mod.
