I have no sound for my drum maps.

Just to clarify my problem, I have gone through the drum maps tutorial about ten times with no success, I have gone through the entire help index, and I have looked through a few of the help questions here to see if I could get my answers that way but nothing helped. When I set up a drum map, I can't get any sound out of it. I have checked the MIDI input/output in both the options and in the track itself. Everything That I have looked at says to me that I should be hearing it but i'm not. I am slightly curious about what I believe to be the volume option in the track view. With both of the guitar tracks, I can choose any volume level between 0 and 127 like it says in the manual. However, in the drum track, it has options for between -INF and 6.0. I don't know if this really is the volume slot or not but if whoever answers this could list off anything that I havn't talked about here then I would greatly appreciate it.

The answer to your question is in the questions grashopper. on the guitar tracks (obviously midi guitar), since the volume goes from 0 to 127, that is midi data values for volume, and the other track goes from -INF to 6, those are DB values for wave audio tracks. So if you are building a drum map for midi drums then you need to do this in a MIDI track, not an audio track!

I hope this helps clear up a matter of two. Rob
