I just need the old interface inside X1 (THE POSSIBILITY TO CHOOSE)

I really appreciate cakewalk effort to bring something new . But X1 don't have the old interface implemented . I mean i need the possibility to choose between the new interface and the old interface . If i work for a project sometimes i miss the old buttons . So i will be happy to have the old buttons in front of me to work faster with X1. The new interface looks great but the most logical part has been cut out ,from the picture .Is really sad for me . I hope and i pray to have the onld buttons inside the new interface .... Good bless

    Have you tried SONAR Plus? It has a small floating toolbar that adds a lot of buttons to X1 that 8.5 used to have, as well as adding some new functionality to SONAR. Link in my signature if you're interested.

    My DAW: Intel i5, Cakewalk UA-1G, Win7 64 bit, SONAR X1a Producer 64 bit

    It's change, man. Some things may pop back up in some form but largely I suspect the look and feel is only going forwards, not backwards.

    I felt the same way when DOS begat Windows...I got used to it.
