I believe that place was a substitute for the Feature Request forum.
Not surprised it is closed, as no more features will be added.
All the best.

Been like that for at least a week, maybe longer.
What a mistake it was anyway.

Hardly surprising given that it was the one for development ideas / fixes and such like.

+1.
Bakery killed feature requests and discussion about them.
Not that it matters anymore.

For me the Bakery was a complete waste of effort. It was always hard to figure out. RIP.

Agreed, it never really got traction. I've seen instances where this kind of approach can work, but I don't think it did in this case.

I have visited Bakery 2-3 times only... but notice HOW it was closed. Any "transition" period? Has someone seen any notification? Some statement in the announcement? I the FAQ?

I am probably the last one, will download everything from my account tomorrow, make screenshots of registration, etc. I mean we can now expect cakewalk site and this forum "disappear" the same way, without warning and without transition...

Yeah, the Bakery disappeared some time ago. The blog is also gone which is a bigger loss given that it had some useful content on it.

I imagine that they will shut down systems based on need. If an area isn't mission critical it could go at any time. Anything that's mission critical (in winding down the company) or has other legal issues should be around for a while. Frankly, I'm surprised the forums are still up. I expected they might go Facebook only, as a public communication.

We have to remember that these guys have ties to Steam, Cleverbridge, component providers and so on. I imagine Cakewalk could go Chapter 11, and then all sorts of other things will kick in. The wheels will turn for some time to come, it's just a question on how informed we will be. From my experience it could be slow and messy behind the scenes. So sad!

Ironically, it wasn't a thing in the first place.
