Perhaps Mooch is unaware that some people prefer to insert their own punctuation. His rule "No Stupid Faces Allowed" may be interpreted as "No, Stupid Faces Allowed". In this interpretation, this statement is answering the question, "Are stupid faces prohibited?" The implied meaning could be, "No, stupid faces are allowed. Come on in. Have some Cheetos and Becan. Here's my remote. Feel free to sprawl on my couch. Have you met Lew?"
It's easy to see how misunderstandings could occur.

You're concenered about Lew? so is my frined Bob. Ya .. see .. Bob is playing drums on a church project and he brought his drums to my house yesterday cuz thats so he didnt have to rush around saturday when we roecord - and Lew saw Bob walk past his window - soooooo Lew cam out -- stood in front of suv with his hands folded - did not say a word - and supervised the drum load in so bob - who is an oak lawn police officer asks - "is that guy ok? nosy? whats the deal?" I says that just Lew .. you seen the movie rainman with tom cruise? ya bob says I says Lew and Rainman are like the same people - Lew is a bit more functioning than Rainman was - but .. you know ...... bob says -- ya -- Id be worrried about living next to a guy like that ... my drums gonna be ok ? ya - Bob - 4 years I've lived here and Lew has never touched my drums -- or yours.... right ? right.... bob says

No, Lew is the fish that Mooch told us was 3 feet long... I thought he caught it in Lake Michigan on a charter boat trip and he had it stuffed and hung on the wall.
Then we saw his music instructor advertisement video and realized Lew is a goldfish with a bunch of friends that are hiding from Charlotte? ( I hope I got that right) the dog, in a well maintained aquarium.
This whole "Lew was standing on the front lawn" stuff is just a bunch of nonsense.
Or maybe it's Midwesterner humor... you decide.
I still think Lew probably knows all his scales.
But everyone seems reluctant to ask.
Oh well.
At least Jonbouy still gives me the time of day.
