How does one turn off notifications for threads they have posted in?

Dave, Click on User Control Panel, then Feature Preferences button and make sure "Always Subscribe when posting" is unchecked. Then if you ever want to be informed on a specific thread, click the " Subscribe to this thread" link at the top of the thread. YW.
