I kinda thought Jobouy was gonna pull some of bapu's slack

Isn't that what the drummer is supposed to do when the bass player forgets to come back in the club after the *break*?

Maybe we just found a different club with a better band?

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

    Hi,

Everyone knows there is no better band than the Coffee House Band, even with their insistence on playing the same thing that's been done a million times over and over.
Not like Hugo Zylerg and his ground-breaking 1971 album Songs In The Key of 7/8 and his innovative use of live chickens and quail. Or is that quails? In Brazil, it's always singular but I don't know how the Americans do it.
Tangerine Dream comes to mind, although lately they seem to be repeating the same success they had in the 1980s. And I could give you thousands and thousands more examples of the way it should be done and how it shouldn't be done, but I don't record music, I just listen to a lot of it. I have the entire 20-year collection of Pirate Radio from KTYD on hi-def DVD sitting in my closet so I know what it is I'm talking about.

What does it say about him if replies "no" Janet?

(BTW - I love Tangerine Dream!  I'm sure I've got at least a couple dozen of their 100+ albums!)

Grant, nothing in the works yet except this quasi-fusion thing I'm struggling with. I can play it in my head but it never reaches my fingers.

Thanks Greg.  I'm actually looking forward to the week.  I just had a different Monday than usual, so got mixed up and wished someone a good weekend this morning. I couldn't believe it when a friend said, 'It's Monday, Janet!'  lol

    So...YOU have a good weekend, Greg!  :)

And don't give up on the quasi-fusion thing (whatever in the world that is!)  Keep trying!!

By the way, the plural is still just 'Quail".

No but given the amount of 'slack' in there I did consider going camping in them...
