Glad to see a positive post on here, too many moaners and not enough joybringers. Best Roy

I'm with you there, David. Thank you for posting. I love X2. I loved X1 (particularly after the d patch). When I first saw X2 I thought that it looked identical and was disappointed.. How wrong I was. The improvements in X2, both work flow wise and audio engine wise are fantastic. And +1 for a positive post, too. I think people (myself included) only tend to comment when something is wrong. I've said in another thread that, for example, we will often complain if we felt mistreated by a shop assistant, but how often do we go to customer services to praise one? The torrent of complaints on a forum can be misleading. So here's to more positive threads. I love X2 too.

IMHO - many users just jump in without reading directions and/or manuals,etc... Then gripe about what it can't do- I'M A SATISFIED USER THAT IS STILL CONTINUING TO LEARN ALL THE PROGRAMS CAPABILITIES...

Yes, I love Sonar X2a too. Unfortunately, I have not much time as I want to have to make music. But maybe this will change someday. But it's always a pleasure for me to work with Sonar. T. Finkbeiner

X2a Producer is very solid, some "minor" quirks but no show stoppers, for my work flow anyway :-)

I'm a having a few little "quirks" appear with X2a but nothing truly horrible. X1d was rock solid but I can put up with X2a. I do like some of the improvements. Still far more stable than 8.5 was (which crashed on me all the time due to horrible memory leak). Thumbs up!

Going from 8.5 to X2a, was probably the single most important point in my music creating life up until now. I'm really not kidding. I've said this before, but it seems like the Bakers were reading my mind and frustrations all these years (been using Cake from its beginnings) and changed the tools and interface to fit my brain perfectly. Frustration and confusion before has turned into joy and clarity over night. I feel as if X2 is allowing me to control it instead of the other way around, like so many other programs...(Microsoft???) The process of music creation now makes much more sense to me. Thanks, Cakewalk... I'll always chime in when there's a "do you love SONAR?" thread. Rob
