I may have a problem here.

I recently bought a Toshiba M35X-S161 laptop. I made this purchase before realizing I would purchase Project5 in the future. Well, the future is now, and I want to have some fun with this program, but now I'm not sure if my laptop will be OK for the program.

I read the system requirments, but was concerned about my processor.

I'm running a Celeron M 1.3GHz Processor with 512mb of ram. I don't have a "Pentium" processor. Will my computer be abe to run this program decently enough?

Please tell me, I don't have to buy a new computer, because I don't think thats an option. Thanks.

Hi frostykind. Welcome to the forum.

I'm afraid i'm going to be the bearer of bad news as i think you will probably have problems with that cpu for all but simple songs with very few tracks. P5 can be hard on processors and the celeron will struggle i reckon.

Hmm...I guess it depends really. The spec of the computer is pushing things a little, but if you don't mind freezing or bouncing stuff down when your cpu starts to choke, then I don't see why you can't join the P5 fun...

Well, thanks for the imput. I'm not quite sure what freezing is, but I'm sure it wont be hard to learn and do. I'm looking forward to P5 since I last had Magix Music maker and it really lacked.
