I need some Bapu™ fixin' advice.

Seems like nowadays Bapu does not wake up as easy as he used to.

What should I do?

Keep a laptop by your nightstand and have a bell rung everytime someone posts a comment in the CH?

Radio Announcer Rick Dees of L.A., on his morning show a few years ago, did a loop of the "Owwwww" at the beginning of "I Feel Good", over and over again.  Called it the James Brown Alarm Clock.  I nearly had to pull over I was laughing so hard.  Of course, in L.A., that can get you shot...

Are you saying you're having problems awakening in the AM?

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

    What should I do?

Wait until you do wake up.  It is obvious that your body and mind Am in need of more personal Bapu time.  The pure generosity with which you share your wealth of knowledge and wit with all is now telling.

I'll be happy to tender a quote, short term immediate repairs, an exhaustive revamp, plus a long term maintenance contract?

It will likely be VERY expensive but of course it will unbeatable value.  Price shouldn't be a factor when considering investment such as this.

Whatever it costs I must pay, should be the maxim applied here anything less would be selling yourself short.

This malady has afflicted musicians since Thag first hit Ugh in the head with a rock and liked the sound.  It's interesting that it has finally spread to bassists as well.
