I need some advise guys
Since there seem to be so many bugs with windows 7, is it a good idea to roll back to windows 7? in my case I'll have to do a clean install....

That is a question that is wrapped inside of a conundrum inside of a riddle. As you pose it...it has no answer.
Do you mean Windows 10?

With all due respect ,your question isn't quite clear.

Kings Mix - if you look at your post, you said Since there seem to be so many bugs with windows 7, is it a good idea to roll back to windows 7? I think Yoropal was asking, do you mean you have windows 10 and want to roll back to windows 7? If that was your intention, well I have all my music computers on Windows 7 with very few issues. I do have other machines for non music work (graphics etc) with windows 10, that are very good, but some of the upgrades have caused problems - mainly short term but definite problems such as things stop working!! Hope that is helpful Nigel

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen. I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I have found win 10 a HUGE improvement over 7, even with the issues some have had... I would NEVER go back... it's faster, Sonar load leveling across my 12 threads is totally balanced now (HUGE) and Sonar operates way more efficiently... Just make sure you enable restore, set restore points periodically... it does this automatically for each update, UNLESS YOU DON'T TURN IT ON! (System Restore)

W7 is a set it, forget it OS and far more mature. I have only one system still on W7. When MS updates W10 it messes up my share in networking once in a while. I hate that. W10 is pretty good with older hardware. My M-Audio legacy stuff still works.

I like Windows 7, and still have one system running that. I like Windows 10, and have two machines running that now. I avoided Vista. My laptop came with Windows 8.1 pre-installed ... WTF was Microsoft thinking with that? It would be cool if the OS could change GUI mode if you plugged in a touchscreen, but the majority of PC users still use a mouse and keyboard. So building a PC OS around the metaphor of mobile and touchscreen? Ridiculous!!! So the laptop was my first plunge into Windows 10, because I could no longer stand the Windows 8 interface getting in my way. But I have to say, Windows 10 is what Win 8 should have been to begin with. Although I must say that it does take some time and effort to tame the Windows 10 privacy and update settings ... YMMV. But for me it is stable and fast. And I do have an old laptop that still runs Win XP. Plus a virtual machine (VM) instance of XP as well. They don't often see the light of day, but I have a few older programs that refuse to install or run on Win 10, so I can still use them if needed.

I too love Windows 10 and would not go back. Then again, I still have a Windows Millennial Edition machine up and running in my house...
