    I think you're turning into a mix engineer right before our eyes!
    Play around with the kick drum. This 80's style music in the modern day needs a "Crack your ribs" kinda kick drum! Awesome job!

    Dude: the tips you gave me on guitar and bass have made a HUGE difference for me!  I am hoping you will give me a tip on the kick as you described above...:)

    Are your drums samples or a live kit?

    I use BFD2 (not live drums). I use piano roll and create some the drums, and I also have an Alesis DM8 electronic kit that I can connect via usb to record the midi data while running thru BFD2.  I am getting better at editing the drums and am really trying to mimic a human. its very difficult, but I am happy with what I have done so far. Like everything, there is room for improvement. But learning as I go and most importantly, having fun!!! :)
