I signed up for Spotify and for a year of Wolfgang's Vault...
Spotify is OK though I wish there were more artists. Some artists, for example The BEATLES are not there. If you try to play their songs you get covers and tunes by tribute bands. There is a lot of other good music though and I like that I can set up and tweak different "radio stations" by liking or not liking a tune.
The Vault is pretty cool. It is "jam" full of old Fillmore and Winterland concerts and loads of other live material. They also own Day Trotter so you have access to the Day Trotter sessions, it is a studio in the mid-west that records a lot of indie artists. I used to have a scrip to Day Trotter and with it you get live streaming of all their studio sessions but I never used it.. However, I got a nice tee shirt when I signed up and I wanted to support them... but the Vault is better. Sign up for a year for 40 bucks and they give you a set of 6 CSNY tickets from 1969 that normally sell for 250 bucks (they must have a nice supply of them or either they don't sell well. The first link is to concerts, the second is to the home page with merchandise etc, all the stuff. I think this all used to be free and was in a list like an old usenet file. I don't remember what it was called back then but I am pretty sure it is the same concerts.
