That happened to me when I downloaded the last Dim Pro update. After several attempts, I just skipped that file and continued. Ive never run in to trouble because of it.

Its very possible that you have a hard drive with bad sectors. If the downloaded file can't be read properly you could get install errors. Try copying the file to a different disk and see if you get the same errors. If skipping the errors doesn't work you may have to download again.
The files on the amazon servers are 100% accurate and tested. If there is an issue reading its likely the disk or a bad download. There are huge files after all and this increases the possibility of error in some cases.

Bub, I just hate stuff like this. I get all out of sorts... it makes me want to hit myself in the head with a hatchet (if you know what I mean)... my BP is up.

After following Noel's advice, should you need to d/l again what tool are you using to download the files?

@jbow ... I know what you mean. :) Dont hit yourself with a hatchet. My avy is photoshopped. :)

Although I did cut the tip of my finger off one time. I got big hands, i was cleaning up after a project outside one time. I had an ax and two sledge hammers in one hand, and two leftover bags of 80 lb concrete bags on my other arm. I tripped and the sledges slipped down and perfectly hacked the tip of my pinky off on the head of the ax.

    Good times.

Sorry if my posts dont make sense. Had a 103 fever for 3 days now and can hardly breathe. I think its getting to me. Doh!

I hope you are better tomorrow Bub. Yeah... I wont chop into my head. I also cut off the end of my right thumb once with a table saw.. got careless, it stopped whining and I went to spray some silicone spray on the guide and bam can up in the air, holding thinb on... they sewed it back on but the nail don't look right.. but i have feeling. That was in 1978.

I have it installed, I added a .exe to everything except the bass3, it is a dll. Everything looks like it is there, all the vsts etc, all the PC stuff but I inserted a bus and double clicked on it and X2 crashed. I may have right clicked, I don't remember. Anyway, all is well I think.

    Thanks and get better NOW.

Dim Pro is 1.5, I added and deleted a stereo bus without a crash this time. Compatibility settings seemed to help. So far all seems well.... I am going to bed. If I encounter another probem I want it to be tomorrow. I have a hard enough time sleeping. The older I get the more intolerant and irritatable I get... my fuse gets shorter and shorter... and I am normally good natured, little things I don't understand really frustrate me.. but all seems well...

Everyone... remove the [1] or whatever it is at the end of the files and add a .exe I am not sure about the bass3 but I think to leave it be since it is a dll. I'll expore more tomorrow but it looks like everything is there and it inported all my pathways and vsts from X1... happy!
