Very nice. Mix is good. Your voice has a Jon Anderson quality to it. My only (personal and minor) thought is that the vocals could be EQ'd just a tad to cut through the mix a little more.

Nice song, and the mix is pretty good. I hear more Freddie Mercury than Jon Anderson, but still, your friend can sing quite well. I think that Ed's comment is correct, something is missing from the sound of the vocal to give it some polish and really let it be the center of the song. Finally, I'd suggest giving the vocal some breathing space because, except for your solo section, the vocal is pretty much nonstop. Regards, Dan

Good song, mix and vocal performance. Singer is a bit Jon Anderson but I hear a lot more Russell Hitchcock (Air Supply) in there. Nice production.

Mix works here, agree could give the vocals a break in some places.

Nice song and mix Kloon - my only crit is that the kick and snare need to be more dynamic. When the drums kick in, they seem a little week. Or maybe the vocal is a little loud in the mix?

Good mix here. The voice cut through fine here as well. I too agree about the continuous singing. IMO would love to hear more textures in the instrumentation (but that's my taste). Good job!

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and give me feedback. I guess that kind of continous singing is something i've tried for a while now. I call it "mantra" for lack of better word. Other musicians tend to have a problem with it, but i have never heard non musicians not like it. Anyway, im still exploring.... It would be hard to do live, thats for sure. :) Thanks

You have a unique voice, and it sounds like you know how to get a lot from it. This song sounds very contemporary and should find a big audience. I think it's good as is.

Mark is right, dead ringer for Air Supply, the guys doing the TIME LIFE gig. But in my mind you LOOK like Jon Anderson, much more pleasant.

Don't forget this guy's voice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrJky8YuTr4 At :13, you go from cheerful beach seagull to LOUD lead synth - maybe fade that synth line in so it doesn't seem like it squashed the seagull in mid-flight. nice summer hit, I liked it! cheers, -Tom

I agree with the comments above - good pop song! Pleasant and catchy melody that's well sung, and the instrumentation supports it nicely. But I do think it could "breathe" a little more... I'd probably bring the sustained pads in and out (completely or just in volume) and/or use a few different pad sounds and exchange them as the song goes on. Summer's on its way....

Just the type of song i was in the mood for this morning! Good job, it's a very slick production. As for the lyrics, I didn't notice anything un-English. But then again, I had a Quebecois friend who often had grammar issues with English songs and it was part of the charm.
