    When I first left home at the tender age of something-teen, after two months I finally called my mother to tell her I'm okay.  It was a phone booth (Google it if you don't know what that is), and in the middle of the conversation I thought I'd lost the connection.  First word out of my mouth: "F---".  There was a few seconds silence and I heard my mother say, "Watch your mouth!".  ...glad  I was 2,000 miles away.
     
    That doesn't help you really, but it's a funny story.

    I was on the phone with an irate client with a complaint one time, and the guy was really straining my nerves. Took everything I had to remain polite and calm. So after I made a point in my defense, there was crickets on the other end of the line. I totally lost it: "ARE YOU F***** KIDDING ME......THIS C*** HANGS UP ON ME, WHAT A P****, WHAT A TOTAL DOUCHEBAG" etc. 
     
    Immediately: "I'm still here." 
     
    Needless to say, etc etc etc.
