Lots of folks have that DAW, but it is really not what they use - they just have it because that is what many folks asks about, when they are looking for someone to do things. Welcome back, in any case. For whatever the worth, ALL of the DAW choices pretty uch are full-function, but some do certain things differently or better/worse than others, and lots of folks end up having and using more than one DAW to give them a well-rounded set of functionality. I myself happen to really like Sonar - and am LOVING its current state of affairs. Bob Bone

I used a dual / triplet setup for the better part of a year *... Tried both PT, Cubase and logic, during that time. Never looked back, though after that Will never go that route again, as SONAR is becoming second nature (DAW - wise), and I (believe somewhere deep down somewhere) will not change DAW again. And things are just getting better We are in a golden age to be a part of the SONAR team * Ps. This was back in 2004 - 2006...

Around here if you drive a Chrysler PT Cruiser they call them PT Losers. Was just talking to a local musicain who just spent over $5,000 to take the course and buy the software and interface. He still say's he has no clue what to do with it and has yet to record a song after 6 months....But I know this guy, he has money and he goes into music stores and asks for what is the best gear.. all his gear is overpriced name brands. PT Loser is a very good handle....

Experienced the same thing. I won't name names but I will call it Cubase. Just couldn't find the love with it. I was back to Sonar in flash. Anybody want to buy Cubase 7 from me real cheap?
