Even if I english is not my native language,I really appreciate your lyrics and I am thankfull you take time to type.. It is much easier for "guys like me " ( makes me think about Aimee Mann sorry sorry..nothing to do with the job at hand)
You are a poet and you are an author.
The song is really easy to listen to and your voice makes perfectly the job.
Because I am french I must say something which drives backwards... And it is that according to me ,the music is
just a little too much in front of the vocal in the chorus ( which actually to my ears sounds like a pre chorus introducing the nice small instrumental bridge).

What more is there to say that hasn't already been said... it's got you written all over it. No, literally, it does. Sounds freakin' great as per usual, clean as a whistle. Some of the changes and the instrumental lines are maybe a bit different than your norm (?), but I really liked it. One of these days I might use one of your songs as a learning experience...

Excellent work again Daryl! This is all through very nice balanced and tastefully mixed. All the quirky stuff going on in the background makes it very enjoyable to listen to. The intermission saturated piano in 1:00 is lovely. The octave singing is made by you? I thought it was a layer by mrsDaryl1968...

WOW! This sounds really great Daryl!!! I mean this as a compliment, but your music reminds me a lot of the Thompson Twins type of Genre, and by that I mean while your music is original that is how I hear it. This sounds great! The only thing I would change is when you say "I'm not the bad Guy!", I think you should say it with more force and express that part a little bit more, say "I"M NOT THE BAD GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"... Enjoyed hearing this one very much! Great stuff man! Sorry to "SOUND LIKE THE BAD GUY!" with my comments if I am, "I'm not the bad guy!".

I agree with all the Thompson Twins and Squeeze references, but the first thing that came to mind was a mix between OLDER Peter Gabriel (Shock The Monkey / Sledgehammer days) and Information Society.
This is really good! The music hook in the chorus is so stinking catchy this is going to be with me all day! I've already listened to this twice.
