I'm a big fan of the automation lanes.

Never thought they would be that big of a deal to me but when you start using them you miss them if you don't have them.  Buh Bye, X1.

Anyone agree with me yet?

    yup. I doubt X1 will be getting much play - most of the changes I've noticed so far are both definite improvements and fairly intuitive in terms of implementation.

    I agreed with you before you said it. It's great for synth stuff where I like to mess around with various parameters. And I've been experimenting with automating effects parameters too. I mean, I know you could do all that before but it now behaves much nicer. The drawing routines are easier as is the editing.
