I'm getting a clicking noise....

I just installed GT 4.0 Pro on my laptop (64 bit Windows Vista) and have my VS-20 hooked up but I'm getting this loud random clicking noise - like a Geiger counter. I can unplug the mic and it makes no difference. I can plug my headphones into the computer directly and listen to an MP3 file with no noise...

I haven't had this issue at home (32 bit Vista) so I'm thinking my 64 bit machine may be what is causing this. Any suggestions?

Hi. Sounds like yo have the metronome on. Another thought! have you down loaded the plug in to allow you to run GT4 Pro with your VS-20?

Thanks Denis, I'll try the plug in.

The noise isn't the metronome - it's more like a random clicking sound. I went ahead and recorded and the track skipped a slurred the sound. I'm pretty sure it's a software interface/driver issue.
