There was specific mention of some new one shots so there's probably some new wackiness in there.

I didn't get the X2 upgrade (yet), but I'm just as happy to see the all excitement in here. I'm also very interested in knowing how the install and your initial thoughts of X2 will be......

Turns out, I was able to get high speed at my new house so I jumped on board ... problem is ... I had no idea the links expired and the connection speed I chose is just too slow to get it within the time allowed. Grrrrrrrrrrr. Of course, I could always up my connection for a mere $65 more a month. What is this crap with the links expiring? :( There's no doubt it's on 50 hack sites already, so why even bother ...

Triggering the link is what expires in 300 minutes. If you need to generate new ones, you can log out and then back in. It will not stop your download if it takes over 300 minutes.

bjornpdx So I should get the boxed version tomorrow? The day after? (Portland, Oregon) Me too! (I hope/wish CA, USA)... But I'm guessing that the boxed versions aren't ready yet... I remembered when I ordered, but I got so excited I started the d/l and ate up my daily d/l limit fast (500MB)... That just cost me another $10.50 to get the day restored. I can't afford to pay that much/500MB even if they'd let me (which they won't) I might try during the free hours tonight, but it will likely take me 3-5 days to get just the 4parts... Thanks HughesNet for yet another wonderful day with your service... Keni

I KNEW it! The second I went to bed last night (or actually early this morning) it would get released. I probably missed it by an hour. First thing I did when I woke up this morning (even before I peed), I grabbed the laptop next to my bed, checked my email. Screamed, "Holy Crap, it's here" Ran out of the bedroom to get to my main PC (with my wife cursing me for waking her up as I left) Anyway happily downloading now at a decent 700 KB/sec (each main part will take me about 30-45 minutes) I can't wait until ten years into the future when Internet connections are lightning fast and we'll all joke about "remember how we used to wait for downloads to finish".

Thanks Craig, I wonder what I have set wrong then. I've manually changed some settings for the maximum number of connections and stuff but that didn't seem to make a difference. I'll try cancelling the three that are currently not running and try to restart them again and see what happens. It's quite easy to use this FDM and you can see your progress, so I'll be using it again for other downloads :)
