I've just bought Z3ta+ for Mac and I can't get Live to see it

I've just bought Z3ta+ for Mac and I can't get Live to see it

I've just bought Z3ta+ 2, installed it and Live can't see it.  I've just read that Z3ta+ is a VST3 plugin and Live doesn't recognise VST3 plugins.  Have I just wasted my money??

    Z3TA+2 is a vst2 plug as far as I know.  I don't think there is a DXI version like +1.5, so that shouldn't be the problem either.

    Since I don't use the mac or live can't comment on how to get it working.

    It's a VST3 unfortunately, as that what it turns up as in my VST folder, and it's what it is now touted as in the press release (which I didn't read before I bought it).

    There are other Live users using it though, so how are they managing to get it to work?

    Hm, I see that they say it needs a VST3 host for the Mac.   On the PC it runs as a VST2 in SONAR, since SONAR doesn't support VST3.

    I suggest contacting Cake support and see what they say.  Sometimes it takes them a day or two to get back.
