Everyone, please... I complained ONLY about thread titles being changed. That's it. Never did I comment about the content of those threads. Not once. So let's stop with this public character assassination that Beepster is responsible for starting. He started it with the lie that you now continue. So let's stop this group activity of character assassination before we have to pull admins in here and get this locked also. Beepster has already been reported for a personal attack and we (everyone else surely) don't need to add to the list of folks twisting the facts and harassing the new guy. We done now? Facts straight yet? Good.

No... not talking to me directly. Just mocking me behind my back and continuing the lie that Beepster started, but I bet you're intelligent enough to have know that, aren't you? Do you think I'm going to get fair treatment sharing my music here now? No... I'll continue to get mocked I predict. So what's the point? @everyoneelse It's a shame that so many folks here at the Sonar forums seem to take real pride in knocking someone down, while the rest of the community just sits idly by... amused I can only assume. Mirrors themselves of the more vocal perhaps? This is definitely not what I expected from a community focused on creativity. It's a shame, but perhaps it's the inherent beauty of music and the passion that it evokes, that inspires these fine examples of kindness and welcoming inclusion from such people... folks who basically think that being mean to strangers is worth it for the amusement... and I assume worth it for the ego boost... because nothing says you're better than another person than by kicking them down and then laughing with your buddies about it all.

Whoa..someone sounds a tad sensitive beyond average standards. I will be the first to point out these forums are totally clique driven, but it's not that serious. Even when i disagree with the vast majority, I don't take it personally. For example, I know that anytime hip-hop or R&B (other than stuff 4 decades old) is discussed the vibe will be overwhelmingly negative and i will still comment knowing i will be alone....and I'm not even a fan of most modern hip-hop. I just like playing devil's advocate lol. I'm sure my comments annoy some, but we move on to the next topctopic and life goes on. I doubt a guy with under 50 posts has registered more than a blip on this forum's radar, especially coffeehouse. The sad truth is odds are slim anyone cares about what you say enough to mock you. 99.95643% of content in coffeehouse is mindless drivel. ..and that's cool because we have plenty of other places here to be more serious. Stick around and observe and yiu will see it is just not seriius enough to get butthurt over.

Thanks for the offered perspective Dub... the effort and thought is appreciated. /bow I just wanted to add that I feel I can handle being mocked for who I am or for my beliefs, just as you mention that you can also take it when your taste in hip-hop and R&B is questioned. What I resent, in this case, is that it's based on a lie... something I never actually said, yet Beepster claims I did. That's why I'm being a tad sensitive beyond average standards... no disagreement there. Deliberate lies, especially combined with a refusal to own up to them, will do that to me.

Don't sweat it. Beepster is actually a very nice guy who will spend hours of his time helping those in need. I think (like most arguments on here) it is more of a case of misunderstanding than lying. My suggestion is to just let it go, focus on the musical aspects of the forum until this blows over and before yu know it , you will be one of the guys. There are a few people here i got off on the wrong foot with initially and have grown to respect a lot even if my comments don't always reflect that. This forum is a valuable resource for Sonar owners and even for non-owners. i take advice gained here into the studio almost daily. beepster IMHO seems like the type of guy in real life would be among the first to buy a round of beer for everyone. maybe turn off computer, do something mindless for a bit and then come back. i can't stress enough how much Coffeehouse talk is an acquired taste. best of luck. On that note, I think i will take my Therermin to the studio this evening . yes, i really have a theremin.

Thanks again for the feedback Dub. I must (benefit of the doubt) agree about being a misunderstanding. That it can be called a lie is a loose technicality only and not necessarily indicative of Beepster's intent or character (Beepster: consider that as an apology from me for directly calling you a liar and a dishonest person). And let it go? Yes, certainly. Short of the exchange in this thread, I suspect this will be the last of it... I hope it will be the last of it... because it would be nice if the community thought they also needed to let it go.
