 Note that this is NOT my real IQ, just the result of getting all those easy questions correct.  I find these light and fluffy tests fun. I've taken several of the "real" IQ tests throughout my life (hence my joke that my IQ was gross when I was in 1st grade - I still have the test results they sent to my Mom too). Even the basic tests are harder than the linked test and max out at 140 (not 150). The next series maxes out at 170. I've never tried any that go higher. Out of all the tests I've ever taken, I've only missed one so-called "right" answer, yet I still think my reasoning was just as good for the answer I chose (and the test administrator agreed)! I also believe that most of these tests don't really identify intelligence (and are very skewed towards those who grew up with the language the test is written in who have also learned the meanings of some of the words used). For example, a person whose first language is not English may have never heard the word "Trustworthy" before (or all of the possible answers) and gets the question wrong. However, if it had been translated into their first language, they would have made the correct association. Above all that, I believe there are other aspects of intelligence that are not represented by these types of tests. My best friend when I was growing up had a younger brother who would probably miss at least half of the questions on that IQ test. But put him completely naked (a short, skinny, very white kid) in the middle of Compton (a very dangerous black gang area that hates whites) with a racial slur written across his chest, and within just a few minutes he would have clothing, food, a place to stay and friends. To me, THAT'S a type of intelligence! (Some call it "Street Smarts.") Another type is the person who may appear dumb but, whenever they follow their intuition, it turns out to be accurate.

Craig - you are right about language bias. We have a mental acuity component in a hiring assessment we use and we always have to be mindful of the fact that if English is your second language, you won't score as high. Of course, that doesn't mean you're not as smart - in fact, we tend to round up a point or two (it's a stanine system with 9 being the highest).
For example, the question "a cup is to a saucer is like a bowl is to a " dish. If English isn't your primary language, the word saucer might trip you up.
I also agree about IQ not being everything. However, we absolute discard candidates that can't meet a minimum on the mental acuity scale. Does that mean once in a blue moon we miss hiring a good candidate? Sure, it could mean that. However, we know from experience it filters out dozens that we shouldn't hire in the process...

I don't care what kind of stuff they say is "equal" - it's not equal just because they put it in front of you. 7 + 2 + 5 EQUALS 14 now, if the "question" of being a real genius were to be worded: 9 + 2 + 4 is to 183652 as 7 + 2 + 5 is to? THEN the answer could be 143547 but as it stands: 7+2+5 = 14
