I think I have a breathing problem, otherwise why would people hang up when I ring them before I've even said anything?

I tried to 'kick some butt' once too, it made a hole in the bottom that my foot got stuck in, I fell over backwards and got drenched with the 45 gallons of water previously stored in it. Funny lot they are.

Received my TAAB2 CD yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised that it also contained a 5.1 DVD-audio mix. Played it immediately and thought it was the most uninspired 5.1 mix I'd ever heard. When it eneded, it returned to the main menu and I noticed an Audio menu option. For some unfathomable reason, playback defaults to stereo. So, I just had to listen to it again immediately. Nice surround mix, but no Dark Side of the Moon (but then what is?). You could hear any 5 second selection and immediately identify this as an Ian Anderson creation. Haven't gotten into the lyrics yet, but musically I found it to be most satisfying. The DVD also has a "making of" video, but I haven't yet watched it. I don't know why IA didn't reconvene Jetrho Tull, and would have loved to have Martin Barre doing guitar. That said, the band is nothing to complain about. So far, I'm a very happy camper.

I've listened to TAAB2 a couple of times in it's entirety, and I'm still not sure what to make of it. It's recorded very well, lots of fine playing on it, but there's no hook or main melody to grasp on to. It's a great collections of riffs that are connected nicely without any repetition, but it's lacking any real musical connection to the the original TAAB. I've listened to the original many many times, and know it by heart almost. I'm not sure if I'll be listening to this ...I just don't know.....the concept of a TAAB2 is a great idea, but I'm not sure this is what I was expecting. And the wise men don't know how it feels, to be thick, as a brick.

I bought the special edition with the "Making of" DVD, which also has some interviews and poetry reading by Ian himself, which goes over the lyrics of TAAB2. It's pretty incredible. The cd grows on you after few listens. It's pretty cool, the master lives on !!
