Icicle XLR to USB
Hello
I just bought an Icicle XLR to USB adapter which works perfect in PowerTracks (OS is Windows 7 and SoundCard is Audigy Creative Labs)
It is not recognized as an audio device by Sonar X1 Essentials (patch b)
Is there a known non compatibility between Sonar X1 and Icicle?
Thanks
J-Louis

Have you selected the correct type of driver in SONAR?
e.g. ASIO, WDM, legacy MME?
Have you selected a bit depth supported by that driver?
It might be something simple.
best regards,

Thanks for the suggestion
I must admit I did not do anything because it was so complicated in the first place to get audio from my sound card that I do not want to mess things up.
I will probably work midi and audio keyboard or guitar on Sonar and then transfer everything to PG Music PowerTracks to add vocals
I was just wondering whether Sonar likes (or hates...) USB microphones or not
