If Bapu is such a good bass player then.....
why...... 1. do we never see him playing those bass lines with his feet? 2. Why is he so mean to Mooch? Logically he would be playing with his feet to give himself a challenge and he would be nice to me because I could teach him to be even more better. Since I am the best and he's number 2 of the best not number 1 like me. I am demanding an answer of this.

All I'm getting out of this is that, unless you play with your feet, you're going to be mean to Mooch... (On second thought, I guess that does make sense.)

But, WHO CARES!!??!! no - challenge your self to play Tchaikovsky with your feet on bass. Rite Of Spring No your mean not honest. You don't love me because if you did you wouldn't have held me down sat and farted on me when you visited. How is that being honest?

Bapu is clearly the #1 Bass player. One merely needs to ask him to get official confirmation of that.

I think Mooch should fret less and let bapu play with his thumb if he wants to.

mike_mccue I think Mooch should fret less and let bapu play with his thumb if he wants to. Mooch already lets Bapu play with his thumbs. Mooch sits in a chair with his thumbs raised in anticipation so Bapu can tie them together.

I used to play ballads at jazz band practice entirely with my thumbs (just to keep from getting bored out of my mind).

Hi, You know ... the best bass player I ever met and talked to ... was not afraid to listen to odd things and other music's and go hide in the closet and get defensive about his own pieces of music! So, is Bapu good or not? It doesn't matter. But I would always give him credit for trying and being there ... and be able to take the hits ... that we, Mooch and everyone give him! The only thing I worry about with Bapu is that he is having more letters in here, than notes on his bass ... but that is his issue, not mine!
As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
