There’s a story told of the late Sir Thomas Beecham, who was a top British orchestra conductor and impresario in the first half of the 20th century.
Apparently he was conducting at a rehearsal for an opera that called for a splendid royal procession on stage. Beecham, being Beecham, decided what the parade needed was a live elephant.
At one point during rehearsals the orchestra was struggling to meet Beechams demands and just as he signalled them to stop the elephant did an enormous cr*p in the middle of the stage.
Beechan looked up at it, turned to the orchestra and said “What a thoroughly disgusting beast. But, gentlemen, what a critic”.

So it mostly got the cables and my pedal power 2. And a couple pedals. The board I disassembled and could scrub and hose off. The cables are all buried in COVERED cat litter. Don't know how the dust will mess then up

I still have spots on my bass guitar case from when my cat Buddy sprayed it 15 years ago. He passed away in 2007. Loveable little pain in the ass sure did test my patience sometimes...

Pretty baby for sure. I couldn't stay mad at that. Looks like he's( she's?) saying "I sorry, Daddy". My poodle's (avatar pic. Her name is Ginger) almost 15 years old but still has the energy of a puppy. She gets naughty sometimes too, but never in my music room. I never let her in there. Good luck with your gear.  JB

I am lucky enough to have a dedicated room for the studio. I always keep the door closed and do not let anyone with more than two legs in specifically to prevent that very occurrence. Hell, I let damn few two legged critters in there.

Wireless keyboard and mouse removes the challenge from small pet birds. They also don't like sharing keyboards.
