Toontrak made me uninstall Lite before it would let me update to EZD 64 bit. So I uninstalled it and deauthorized it... HOWEVER, I am still havenig a bit of a funky experience... and yes, I have been experienced!
I installed EZD in C\program files\Toontrack and I put the sounds in C\program files\Cakewalk\VSTplugins
I think that is right. SOLO 32 and 64 look right but when I try to open EZDin X1E (hotfixed) 434 EZD shows up in the browser synth rack as TT106win>install>program files>Toontrack>EZDrummer. I have to highlight each of these and move the mose to open the next, then finally I click on EZDrummer and it inserts into the FX bin... somehow this don't seem right. I have not tried to use it yet. I want to be sure I have the install right. I bought it last week and then had to go away a few days. Now I am trying again to get it installed right. The Support Portal at Tontrack does not work but I did manage to post a convoluted statement/question on the forum there. I have tried to follow Dave's directions at gatortrax but I am still unsure.
As soon as I FINALLY manage to get this installed correctly I will start on BFD eco which I bought the same day... and I am thinking I may need jbridge for that, but I am not sure... this is really frustrating but I'm sure it is user error but I think they could make it a bit more clear. I'm glad X1 and it's plugs didn't give me these kind of problems.
How does EZDrummer show up in your browser or when you choose insert synth? If it is different, tell me where did you install EZD, SOLO, and the sound files? I feel like I am missing something simple.
