If I'm to believe everything I read

With over a gazillion VSTs and over 1TB sound libraries, I'm missing out somehow because I don't have:

Maag4 EQ (or even that freebie version of "alomst" the same)
BFD3
The latest Abbey Road plug from Waves
BIAB 2014

And the beat goes on........

Isn't there a toggle for the BIG TIME?

But seriously, Bapu, you need to start investing in hardware.  That will slow up your aquisitions, or you simply have too much money.

The real Maag eq was on sale for black Friday. My guess is that cash money will get you the same deal any day of the week.

I look at it this way: if my time is worth $N per hour, which will give me the greater return, spending $N x 10 on a plugin or spending 10 hours practicing my instrument?

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

From the list you've given there Bapu a quick search has revealed that only one of them has a demo available so you can do the maths for yourself

I only have one those on your list but I don't feel the need to say which.

I find it hard to believe you made it to over 1,700 by being a skeptic. If you want those plugs that is a good enough reason to grab them but I'm completely confident you can get by without them.
If you're aggressively poised over the buy it now button and just looking for a little more coaxing, how's this... you want to be cool don't cha

I'm missing out on missing out.

If you produce your music (on someone else ones) , wanting some new toy/sounds is legit cause this is the research of inspiration !!  back in the days and even nowdays , album were made on one inspirationnal concept/HW/toy /instruments ect ....

In person i tend to get new things for each album i produce to try to get a new "world" each time with my signature of course !!

For the FX side i'm more critical on purchase , we can reproduce mainly 99% of the sound everytime with tools we laready have : question : how fast and would i came to this sounds with my toyz or not ?

Voila Bapu , hope i didin't went to rational lol !
