No I didn't do the mix. I'll have to check on who did the mix, Possibly Eric Schilling but I' get back to you on that. The only copies we still have are on two track 1/4" tape. I was working from cassette copies of the 1/4" tape for the remaster, not your best starting point.
I've been trying to archive and master the old tapes so I just did the master not the mix.

Considering you were working from cassettes, you did a fine job. There's not tape hiss to speak of, and the dynamic levels aren't bad. Of course, it helps to start with a good song such as this one. Enjoyable listen.

Hi, Kevin, This song is absolutely fantastic! It sounds like you guys were a dynamite band. Excellent songwriting and instrumental performances, and truly fantastic vocals. You also did a great job getting it off the old tape and preserving the quality of the mix. I've got a ton of old reel to reel tapes from the 80's, full of my old originals, that I'm hoping to do that with someday.  Anyway, great song, thanks for sharing. Have a good one! Bob

Excellent songwriting and instrumental performances, and truly fantastic vocals. You also did a great job getting it off the old tape and preserving the quality of the mix. I've got a ton of old reel to reel tapes from the 80's, full of my old originals, that I'm hoping to do that with someday.

Thanks for the comments Bob. Good luck going throu the old reels. You should try sooner that later. I had a couple of reels that left most of their "music" on the playback head. cool. it definitely has the tape "sound" but I don't hear any hiss or "wow & flutter"
