If eight of us threw down $25 apiece.....

Craigb (ITHRN) would have lifetime updates.

I'm in. You?

We have to do it (paypal) in the next three days (by Wed 8:00 AM PST 31 August).

I wish I could just front the cash for craig but... well you all know I'm useless (for now) as far as monetary matters.

I do however think it might require more than 8 x $25 contributions. He seems to be on Producer 4 and never owned any X series. I think the price in that case for lifetime upgrades is almost the same as buying it as a new user (like maybe $50 discount... but the whole scheme is a little confusing).

Maybe that JRR shop thing is a special deal to get around that though. I hope so.

I would really like to see craig updated. Very short window at this point though.

Good luck, bro. I'd help if I could.

Beeps. Methinks u be right. That is the price if one already owns Platinum. $399 for "any" version of SONAR.

    So we either need 16 @ $25 or 8 @ $50. I'm in for $50 if that's what it takes.

As I have said elsewhere, this is exactly why I love hanging out here!  However, I would really prefer to remain on the helping side.  Now that I've finally got a decent paying job, let me catch up and I'll just get whatever upgrades are available (I never missed one from Cakewalk v1.0 all the way to PE v4!).

The real issue for me isn't the lifetime upgrades, it's the fact that I really wouldn't be able to use it!  My current DAW machine doesn't have the cajones, and I need all those wonderful parts that allow you to record in the first place (since I was required to sell all my gear).  I'd feel like that Beatles song Baby You Can Drive My Car: I'd have a driver but no car!

    I definitely appreciate the thoughts!

Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!
