If someone calls me a half-wit...
Is that enough?
Or do I need to go looking for the other half?
I mean, half a wit is better than none, right?
Are 2 half-wits better than 1?
I can't figure this out 'cause I don't have a calculator.

I think I'd need a calculator to go further than that.

Half a wit is still better than no wit at all.
Unfortunately, the Dunning-Kruger effect (also knows as the Rimmer Effect) prevents nitwits from self-realizing their own wit paucity. The same principle also applies to half-wits, who often mistakenly assume that they are actually full-wits, which is why we full-wits have an obligation to point out their deficiencies to them at every opportunity.
