Cannot compete with this, so I won't try. Copacetic timing! We just had George Clinton in town with P-Funk!

That's a pretty good bass comin' out of Dimension Pro. I liked it a lot. How did you do the horns by the way? They sound pretty legit, too. Ever hear of "Down to the Bone?" great share, thanks! -Tom

Thanks everybody, for the listens and comments, much appreciated! Tom- Sorry, I neglected to list the horns, they were done with NI Session Horns Pro. I've edited the op to list them. Thanks again, guys!

I love funk, this is tight and well mixed. The horns make this, good job. The overall instrument choices are well selected. Cian

Smoooooth and jazzy, and yet you still brought out ALL the funk. Killer organ leads, and lead bass throughout. Good aggressive drums, nice pads. Hangs together like this song's been being worked on for years. If you're looking for nitpicks... the hat in the intro sounds a tiny bit brash/splashy maybe. And maybe the strings and horns are ever so slightly too wet for my taste. Matter of opinion! Also, too short, had to listen 3 times. ;)

Not much to add - I really liked this! Love the individual parts and the way they all fit together so nicely. And everything is played to a tee. But overall I'd say that Ol Pal nailed it in his post.

Thanks so much to everybody for taking the time to listen and for the kind words. I'd like to point out that although I did arrange and produce/engineer/mix it, I didn't play anything on this song. I put the drums and percussion together (AD2); and the horns I edited and massaged; the rest is all midi loops and snippets. I'm a guitarist/bassist/singer with rudimentary keyboard skills and on most of my tunes I sing all the parts and play most of the instruments, sometimes with a little help from my friends and/or a step sequencer. But I've done a couple of tunes like this as small commercial projects (very small) or just because I like to do it. It still amazes me what one person can do with the tools we have now (I'm from the old, old school, heh.) and like everybody here, I just love to do it. Thanks again guys!
